All Gameday Player of the Year Finalists
Lake Braddock's Michael Nebrich is one of the 3 finalists for the 2009 All Gameday Player of the Year in Group AAA. Nebrich led the Bruins to the state championship game for the first time in school history.
Stone Bridge's Marcus Harris led the Bulldogs to their 3rd state finals appearance in the last 5 years. He set the all time single season rushing record at Stone Bridge this fall as just a junior.
DULLES, VA - With 2009 coming to a close in less than a week, Gameday is pleased to announce the finalists for the All Gameday Player of the Year in both Group AA and Group AAA.
The 8th Annual All Gameday Team will be announced in early 2010, with our end of the year All Gameday Banquet to be held on the 16th of January. For nearly a decade, Gameday has been honoring the best football players in Northern Virginia in a unique way.
Every player selected to the All Gameday Team is invited to attend our annual banquet, where each receives a trophy, and a copy of the All Gameday Team Selection Show DVD produced by Gameday.
Due to the VHSL Championships being moved back a week in 2009, the All Gameday Banquet will be held a week later than normal as well. Stay tuned for more information as we unveil the latest class of All Gameday players in the coming weeks.
