CVHS Student Activities Office needs YOUR donations for 6/14/10 silent auction. Centreville's Student Activities Office is holding a silent auction to help support the 44 clubs and 21 varsity sports offered at Centreville High School and is csurrently asking the community for donations. The money raised from the Silent Auction will be used to purchase new athletic equipment, musical instruments, team uniforms and practice equipment that can be used for years to come. Donation ideas might include sharing a skill, such as giving tennis / golf / music / painting / cooking or other lessons, offering a fishing trip, contributing game/theater/concert tickets, assembling a "theme" gift basket, or donating art work or a restaurant gift certificate. CENTREVILLE VOLLEYBALL CAMP: The Centreville High School Volleyball Camp is entering the 8th year and is proud to be one of the longest running high school camps in the area. and a CONGRATULATIONS to Coach Oliver Small, JV Boys Lacrosse Head Coach and Varsity Boys Lacrosse Assistant Coach, who was recently named Concorde District Assistant Coach of the Year. CVHS also earned the Boys Lacrosse Sportsmanship Award for the 2009-2010 season.

Finally, Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball team for finishing the regular season with a record of 14-5 (8-2 in the Concorde District). Centreville Baseball won the regular season for the first team in school history and was runner-up in the District Championship.
MEN'S TRACK: Congratulations to the Men's Track Team as they were crowned Concorde District Champions on Friday night, May 21st! Individual champions included Paul Barbour in Triple Jump who set a new school record and Mattson Heiner, who won the 800. Terrence Kennedy and Yazid Zouaimia were also huge point getters for the championship winning team. The girls team had the district champion winning 4x400m relay. The relay included Jessica Mejia, Katie Hickey, Valerie Luna and Mariana Mastriano. These girls will also be advancing to the Northern Region meet! Junior Jessica Mejia was also a district champion in the 300m Hurdles. Please come out and support the team which competes at the Regionals this Thursday and Friday, May 27-28, at Lake Braddock HS.
